On July 6th, the Skyview Bar in Manila was the place to be for rap fans as the Skyline Slam kicked off at 6 PM. The event featured eight top-notch rappers: Jericho, D.O.K, Puzzle Man, M1, Illeye YG, Rusty M, Jean, and Mayeng, each bringing their A-game.

In the first round, all rappers went acapella, with some even freestyling to wow the crowd. After fierce battles, M1, Illeye YG, Rusty M, and Jean advanced. The semi-finals saw Rusty M vs. M1 and Illeye YG vs. Jean, with intense four-bar acapella exchanges.

The final showdown between Rusty M and Jean was electrifying. They incorporated given words into their first five rounds, then unleashed pure freestyle in the next five. The match was so close, it required an extra round, keeping the audience hyped.
